I went to the podiatrist with Angelina yesterday. The assistant was a friendly older lady who was talking with Angelina about what grade she was going into and her summer, she was very nice. As she walked us to the exam room she noticed Angelina’s T-shirt. "2015 Walk for Autism.”
“Did you do a walk for autism?” she asked.
“Yes, it was fun.” Angelina answered.
"That’s so nice that you did that for those people". I didn’t think she meant anything by it, besides boomers can’t be untaught much, but my knee-jerk reaction was, “what do you mean those people?" but my daughter took care of my light work for me.
Angelina replied, "oh yeah well my brother is one of THOSE people." I was cracking up and couldn't have been prouder of my little girl.
